Back in September of 2020 I meet with Jermaine concerning the selling of my home. I had some life changing events that forced me out of my home of thirty years. The house had thirty years of hard living in it, two dogs, a cat, children, and everything that goes with life. It would need work in order to sell, which was something that I did not want to deal with.
I called Jermaine Hurley who was advertising that he buys homes. He stopped by the house the next day and three or four day later he made an offer. The house, as is, with only one condition which concerned the septic system. I was already moving forward with the inspection, and it did indeed fail. I sent the paper work concerning the septic to him and he revised his quote.
We meet in my driveway, and he gave me a revised quote, again the house as is, with the failed septic. We went back and forth once concerning the price. The selling price was good for both of us, and the deal was done. His last words to me were “take whatever you want, and I will deal with the rest.”
The closing was within two, maybe three weeks, very simple, no financing, no condition, we meet at the attorney’s office, and they cut me a check that afternoon. Jermaine was extremely easy to work with and fair. I would recommend him to anyone who does not want to deal with brokers, showings, home inspections, repairs, and all that goes with selling a home.
